Here are a few things you should know about me:

I’m nineteen and I’m surrounded by people who don’t understand me and I’m also fighting a reluctant struggle in becoming a happier person.

Here are a few things you should know about my blog:

This is an AMATEUR self help guide for people with either low self esteem,  a mental health issue or are just trying to find themselves again after a moment of crisis.
Sometimes we lose sight of who we are and discard the things we once loved doing,. This blog aims to help you  build your personality again and become the person you are best at being: yourself.

I hope you find all the information helpful in some way, I’m not a professional but I am an expert on giving advice based on my personal experience.

  2. Hi Ruth, thanks for the follow. You look nice in your photo; young, fresh, and happy. I can just about remember being 19. They were good days (1971) of easy employment, fast living, and few cares. I am sorry that you feel you are surrounded by a lack of understanding, but I think that is often the fate of people with a high creative drive.
Life has a way of sorting itself out though, and there are many chances to take different paths.
I wish you well with your hopes and aspirations, and this blog will be a great asset to you. I know that mine is, to me.
    Best wishes from Norfolk. Pete.

    • thanks for the comment! Things are very much looking up at the moment, which is why I made this blog; to show people with a mental illness can bring themselves back up again.

I hope you enjoy the posts to come! Thank you.
